About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the County of San Diego Contract from June 2027 to August 2027
- Work with senior architects to design cloud and AI solutions for County services
- Create system diagrams, architecture patterns, and AWS-based designs under the AI-DLC framework
- Work alongside Peraton professionals on real projects that modernize County services
- Contribute to emerging work applying AI to how software is designed, built, and delivered
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizenship
- HS Diploma and some advanced level training
- Current undergrad or graduate student who has completed progress or is pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Understanding of software design and cloud computing fundamentals
- Ability to create technical diagrams and explain design decisions
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate certification (desired)
- Familiarity with architecture patterns including microservices, serverless, and event-driven (desired)
- Exposure to AI-DLC, infrastructure as code, or AWS AI services (desired)
- Prior software development internship (desired)
