About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work directly with restaurants and venues to learn how they handle inquiries, menus, and follow-up
Identify where the company's AI falls short for specific customers
Customize AI features to meet customer needs
Track and improve customizations to drive customer outcomes
Identify patterns across customers and turn them into improvements for the core product
Bring engineering the problems worth solving for everyone
Help write evaluations to improve AI performance
Collaborate closely with sales, customer success, and engineering
Spend regular time on-site with customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

You love working with customers, but also have a technical background
You have built products where AI features are core to the user experience
You are familiar with LLM observability tools
You have been a founder or worked at an early stage startup
You have a strong sense of urgency and move quickly
Bonus: experience in hospitality, restaurants, or events
Must work in the San Francisco office 5 days per week
Regular time on-site with customers is expected
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
