About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work in a warehouse environment
Track inventory levels
Handle all aspects of shipping and receiving
Maintain metrics and accurate records
Work with carriers and drivers
Set up appointments, including checking in drivers
Update drivers, carriers, and the logistics team
Work with customer service as needed
Release work to the floor as requested by the lead/supervisor
Provide data and turnover information to oncoming shifts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Prior forklift experience REQUIRED
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Warehouse Practices
Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely
Excellent time management skills
Ability to stand, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities and on-going projects
Flexibility and able to manage change with a positive attitude
Time management skills to stay on track with fulfilling orders
Strong Judgment and Decision Making skills, ability to choose appropriate action for the situation
Critical Thinking skills and ability to identify strengths and weaknesses and alternative solutions
Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
Effective communication skills
Ability to work overtime
Ability to subtract, add, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
