About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and actively participate in production efforts for public and private architectural projects
  • Work closely with PSI Lead Architects to understand client and stakeholder needs and develop solutions
  • Use REVIT and AutoCAD in architectural and interior design work
  • Develop presentation materials, graphics, marketing materials, and proposal documents
  • Work with school administration to determine project needs and goals related to interior design
  • Develop interior finish schemes aligned with client needs, budgets, and preferences
  • Coordinate interior design features with architectural and engineering teams
  • Develop construction documents and manage construction administration
  • Coordinate and assist with red lines
  • Attend and collaborate in required project meetings
  • Present to customers in design and board meetings
  • Coordinate with internal Architects, Engineers, and Project Managers
  • Communicate with outside consultants regarding projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture
  • Minimum of four years of commercial interior design experience, with a preference for a K-12 background
  • Minimum of 2 years with REVIT
  • Experience and knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Experience and knowledge of building construction
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and commitments
  • Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other visualization software experience are a plus
  • Ability to work primarily from PSI’s business office in Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Ability to travel regularly and attend occasional site visits and off-site coordination meetings
  • Ability to occasionally work additional hours to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally
