About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support biomanufacturing projects across the entire engineering lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor project performance
  • Interface with project management, client management, and site personnel to develop detailed integrated schedules
  • Deliver summary project plans, milestone management reports, detailed execution schedules, activity tracking and variance reports
  • Prepare budget estimates, project cost reports, forecast trend analysis, issue/risk/scenario analysis, scope/change impact analysis, and monthly project status reports
  • Analyze complex project data and communicate concise insights to support decision-making
  • Align with client departments including Design, Construction, Validation, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering
  • Communicate project information internally and relay in-field project decisions and downstream impacts
  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for engineering lifecycle equipment and manufacturing processes
  • Maintain site dashboards, detailed schedules, and deliverable trackers
  • Perform due diligence and quality checks for high-quality project deliverables
  • Identify and escalate roadblocks and develop creative solutions
  • Support forecasted billables and monthly billable targets
  • Develop technical aptitude in life-science project controls, including CAPEX facility builds, shutdowns/turnarounds, technology transfers, enterprise system integrations, validation, quality/regulatory/compliance, GxP automated systems, quality control, and operational readiness
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, contractors, and Project Farma team members
  • Senior Engineers may independently lead workstreams, identify risks and improvement opportunities, advise stakeholders, mentor others, and own quality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree (and/or Masters) in technical Sciences, Engineering, Regulatory or related discipline OR equivalent experience in project controls, general construction, cGMP facility start-up, project management and/or comparable military experience
  • 1-7 Years of Experience required
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, and/or Smartsheet a plus
  • Willingness to travel as required for client project assignments
  • Pharma and/or general construction industry alignment preferred
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
