About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical guidance for assigned project team members
Create an approachable, inclusive team environment and encourage project-team participation
Engage leadership with continuous-improvement suggestions for DT&A and Project Farma strategy
Lead medium-sized projects or scopes of work for large projects
Build collaborative relationships with clients, vendors, and system integrators
Support scope definition, change management, and client communications
Identify opportunities to expand Project Farma work
Develop project execution and configuration strategies
Build knowledge of estimating automation projects, including schedules, hours, and tasks
Resolve moderately complex operational and people-related challenges
Mentor and coach engineers
Monitor emerging technologies and evaluate strategic business impact
Identify execution risks and take proactive corrective action
Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and EHS standards
Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Review deliverables for quality and compliance before client submission
Address quality issues through coaching and process improvement
Balance schedule, quality, and client priorities
Manage team utilization and workload forecasting to meet billability goals
Escalate high-risk decisions appropriately
Ensure quality assurance, risk management, and compliance across DT&A

Requirements

What you’ll need

10–20+ years of relevant experience considered
Bachelor’s Degree (and/or Masters) in Life Sciences, Engineering, Regulatory or related discipline OR equivalent experience in quality assurance, cGMP facility start-up, regulatory assurance, relevant military and/or professional services
Minimum 10–15+ years of experience in Automation and Digital Systems environments in GMP life sciences (biotech, pharma, ATMP)
Expert-level experience with one or more aspects of Process Control, MES and Digital Systems platforms
Willingness to travel as required for client project assignments
Strong communication and influencing skills across engineering, quality, IT/OT, and manufacturing
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, regulated environment
Leadership and mentorship abilities
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
No current or future work visa sponsorship
Cannot have an invalid driver’s license
