About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and own capital projects from concept through commissioning, handover, and closeout
  • Manage project scope, plans, budgets, schedules, resources, quality, and safety compliance
  • Lead multifunctional teams of internal and external subject matter experts
  • Communicate project progress, risks, opportunities, recommendations, and solutions to stakeholders
  • Maintain project budget trackers and forecast future spend
  • Work with Finance to report capital project results to Global Engineering
  • Manage orders relating to capital projects
  • Support preparation and execution of equipment and process validation protocols
  • Write technical reports supporting quality and operational decisions related to site services
  • Support Quality Event/CAPA investigations and corrective actions for Facilities Engineering equipment
  • Troubleshoot operational and design issues related to delivered capital projects
  • Pursue continuous personal growth, collaborate, communicate with impact, apply critical thinking, innovate, improve processes, and take ownership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline required: Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Building Services
  • Experience managing engineering projects required
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
  • Recognised project management certification preferred
  • Experience with industrial building services preferred
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project
