About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, enhance, and optimize SAP processes in the sales environment, with a focus on SAP SD
Take responsibility for end-to-end sales processes, from quotation processing through invoicing
Integrate sales processes with adjacent processes
Independently handle and plan incidents, service requests, and changes in 1st- and 2nd-level support
Develop sustainable solutions to business and technical issues
Manage and develop interfaces between SAP SD and internal and external systems
Create and maintain system, process, and test documentation
Support validation activities
Conduct training sessions and coordinate with key users
Support digital transformation and play an active role in shaping projects
Further develop the SAP system landscape

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience managing, enhancing, and customizing SAP applications, with a focus on SAP SD
At least one completed SAP SD project
Strong knowledge of end-to-end sales processes, from quotation and order processing through shipping and delivery to invoicing
Experience in application management and handling support requests and changes in 1st- and 2nd-level support
Practical experience managing SAP interfaces
Experience working with adjacent modules, such as MM, WM, and EWM
Business-fluent German skills
Good written and spoken English
Completed degree in business informatics, business administration, engineering, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience as an SAP Consultant
Structured and independent way of working
Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions
Class B driver's license
Willingness to travel for business approximately 25% of the time
