About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out thorough pest inspections and identify appropriate treatment solutions
- Deliver pest control treatments using chemical and non-chemical methods
- Install, monitor and maintain pest control equipment and monitoring systems
- Investigate root causes of pest infestations and identify preventative measures
- Provide customers with clear, professional advice and recommendations
- Build strong and lasting customer relationships
- Manage own workload and planned service schedule
- Complete accurate digital service reports and maintain customer records
- Carry out follow-up visits to monitor treatment effectiveness
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety requirements and industry standards
- Represent the business professionally on every customer visit
- Work across residential, commercial and industrial environments, including planned service visits and reactive call-outs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience working within the pest control industry
- RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management or an equivalent industry qualification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to identify practical solutions
- Confidence to work independently and manage own workload
- Proactive, professional and reliable approach
- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
