About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute information security controls across infrastructure environments, including data centers and cloud environments
Apply security policies, standards, and procedures defined by the governance function
Administer and operate security tools, including antivirus/EDR, IAM, vulnerability management, and hardening solutions
Manage vulnerabilities, including analysis, prioritization, remediation, and evidence documentation
Support security incident response in collaboration with the SOC and Information Security teams
Implement and maintain hardening standards for servers, operating systems, networks, and services
Address risks and vulnerabilities identified in the technology environment, ensuring appropriate remediation
Support internal and external audits by providing compliance evidence
Serve as the technical focal point between Infrastructure and Information Security
Monitor service performance indicators, CES, and Microsoft Security Score, and ensure action plans are implemented to keep these indicators aligned with market benchmarks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree completed
Degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
Experience administering Windows and Linux environments
Knowledge of networking, firewalls, access control, and infrastructure security
Experience with security tools, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, and vulnerability scanning
Knowledge of patch management and hardening
Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Azure
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, and Brazil’s LGPD
Experience with Microsoft Security tools, including Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, and Purview, is a plus
Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture is a plus
Security certifications such as SC-200, AZ-500, and ISO 27001 are a plus
Strong execution focus and operational discipline
Ability to work in regulated and business-critical environments
Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration between technical and governance teams
Analytical mindset and focus on risk mitigation
Proactive approach to vulnerability remediation and process improvement
