About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the CEOs and Executive team to coordinate strategic priorities, track progress and maintain momentum
- Prepare strategy papers, Board reports, presentations, briefing packs and external communications
- Coordinate UK and Group Board updates and gather accurate information from senior leaders
- Manage governance and reporting rhythms for the UK Executive team, including weekly ExCo Huddles and monthly ExCo meetings
- Prepare agendas and papers, record decisions and actions, and follow up with owners
- Review priorities and ensure actions align with the UK business strategy
- Conduct research and prepare summaries for executive discussions and decision-making
- Manage strategic diaries and forward planning for Executive team members
- Coordinate Board visits, strategy sessions, executive off-sites, leadership development activity and high-profile meetings
- Plan domestic and international travel for the Executive team and UK Board Directors
- Work with Marketing and Corporate Communications on executive messaging, events and internal communications
- Coordinate UK engagement activities including Town Halls, Collaboration Days, Campus Days and company events
- Support special projects, change initiatives and business development activity
- Manage and develop an Executive Support Assistant
- Build relationships across PEXA UK, the wider Group, customers, advisers, government contacts and industry bodies
- Maintain accurate records, systems and stakeholder information confidentially
- Keep the Executive team prepared, priorities clear, actions moving and the wider business informed and connected
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced executive support professional from within a regulated industry, preferably FS or FinTech
- Comfortable working closely with CEOs, Boards or Executive teams
- Experience preparing Board or Executive papers, reports, presentations and briefing materials
- Strong governance, action-management and project-coordination skills
- Ability to challenge priorities constructively and hold senior stakeholders to agreed actions and deadlines
- Proactive, self-directed approach and track record of working without close supervision
- Ability to anticipate issues, identify gaps and implement practical solutions
- Exceptional diary, meeting, travel and event-management skills
- Experience managing or mentoring executive support colleagues
- Strong written communication and ability to turn complex information into clear, well-structured materials
- Excellent stakeholder-management skills
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Absolute discretion, integrity and sound judgement with commercially sensitive or confidential information
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and scheduling tools
- Willingness/ability to travel to London and Thame, typically around once a month
