About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Negotiate cases authorized by the legal department, observing approval limits and each client’s specific policies
Follow up on contacts initiated through the automated first-contact workflow (AI), presenting the proposal after the opposing party agrees to hear it
Draft judicial, extrajudicial, and Procon settlement agreements
Review release, deadline, penalty, and payment-method clauses
File settlement agreements and motions for court approval
Monitor payments and arrange for case closure and records update
Record all interactions and status updates in the CRM, maintaining end-to-end traceability
Monitor individual conversion metrics
Report deviations, refusal patterns, and policy adjustment suggestions to leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Law
Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
Experience negotiating settlements in high-volume litigation, preferably consumer law matters
Strong knowledge of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (CDC), applicable Small Claims Court (JEC) and Code of Civil Procedure (CPC) settlement procedures, and the operation of complaints filed with Procons and consumidor.gov.br
Clear, precise, and confident legal drafting for settlement agreements
Familiarity with case management systems and CRM platforms
Experience working with conversion targets and high-volume operations is a plus
Training in mediation, conciliation, or negotiation techniques is a plus
Previous experience in services, banking, or product-related matters is a plus
Knowledge of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) as applied to contact with opposing parties is a plus
