Key responsibilities & impact

Identify the business questions, users, decisions and outcomes that matter
Build and continuously refine an analytics roadmap
Prioritize use cases, datasets and capabilities based on decision impact, urgency, scalability and enterprise value
Translate business strategy and operating needs into scalable information and analytics capabilities
Lead alignment on terminology, calculations, ownership and authoritative definitions
Partner with Systems throughout design and delivery, providing business requirements and decisions
Lead business validation and certification for accuracy, usefulness, controls, performance, security and readiness
Define adoption approaches for data products, including guidance, training, workflow integration, access, support and communication
Govern business access and change with Data Governance and Systems teams
Measure adoption, quality and business impact; prioritize enhancements and retire low-value content
Communicate roadmaps, decisions, risks, dependencies and realized value to stakeholders
Validate assumptions and business meaning directly with data and source systems
Investigate variances, anomalies and reconciliation breaks and drive root-cause correction
Use analytical tools to validate opportunities and test hypotheses
Define and pressure-test calculations, business rules and data definitions behind key metrics
Translate recurring analytical requests into durable datasets and reusable analytics
Assess internal and external data sources for quality, coverage and fit
Interrogate analytical and AI-generated outputs for accuracy and reasonableness

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, real estate, information systems, data/analytics or a related field
Significant experience leading data, analytics, information or decision-support initiatives in Commercial Real Estate, investment management, or similar environment
Deep understanding of investment, portfolio, asset or operating decisions
Ability to frame complex business questions, define scalable information requirements and translate strategy into prioritized roadmaps and measurable outcomes
Ability to work effectively with engineers, data professionals and dashboard developers
Exceptional stakeholder leadership, facilitation, communication and executive storytelling skills
Strong judgment amid ambiguity and ability to sequence work, make trade-offs and deliver incremental value
Strong analytical instincts and willingness to work directly with data
Strong quantitative reasoning and data problem-solving skills, including experience with large, imperfect datasets and diagnosing quality, reconciliation and lineage issues
Practical understanding of data modelling, semantic layers and Real Estate data structures
Working fluency with modern analytics and data platforms
Technical depth to engage on data models, SQL, BI tools, cloud data environments and AI-enabled analytical experiences
Collaborative, curious and outcomes-oriented leadership style
Advanced degree or relevant professional designation is a plus
