About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Technology and the Separate Account and Trust Operations business
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, technology leads, engineers, quality engineers and delivery professionals
  • Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings and specifications
  • Maintain a prioritized, delivery-ready backlog with the Product Owner
  • Shape technical designs and understand end-to-end system impacts
  • Analyze technology, data and business-process issues using SQL to investigate accounting, valuation and reference data
  • Partner on test planning, execution and defect resolution across system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing
  • Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and contribute to release planning
  • Support conversion and upgrade projects, new data feed onboarding and multi-platform integration efforts
  • Use Microsoft Copilot, Atlassian Rovo and Claude Code for requirements analysis, documentation, data investigation, test preparation and delivery
  • Manage delivery dates and coordinate with clients, business stakeholders and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Improve analysis practices, documentation standards and tooling, and coach others

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of business or systems analysis experience delivering technology change, ideally in financial services
  • Understanding of financial concepts, metrics and business outcomes
  • Experience eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements
  • SQL and relational database knowledge, with hands-on experience querying and reconciling data
  • Experience with Agile development practices and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Analytical thinking, critical judgment and structured problem-solving
  • Ability to communicate complex business and technology concepts clearly
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgment
  • Preferred: investment management or financial services experience, including valuation, fee calculation, trading and reporting
  • Preferred: conversion, upgrade, data-feed and multi-platform integration experience in a SAFe Agile environment
  • Preferred: familiarity with Test-Driven Development and CI/CD practices
  • Preferred: understanding of retirement DB and DC plans, fixed income products and funds of funds
  • Preferred: familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric
