About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Investment Operations professionals
- Support Asset Based Finance (ABF) and Residential Mortgage Whole Loan products
- Provide operational and people leadership across deal onboarding, trade settlement, funding, asset servicing, and secondary market trading
- Facilitate deal execution with deal teams, counsel, fund management, and internal and external stakeholders
- Capture and maintain primary and secondary market trading activity in the Order Management System (OMS)
- Ensure accurate and timely IBOR positions and records
- Manage end-to-end wire payment processes for deal funding and settlement
- Coordinate and execute private asset transfers
- Manage daily production, including cash forecasting and positioning
- Research and resolve cash and position breaks with stakeholders
- Prepare and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
- Strengthen controls, manage risk, develop team talent, and support business growth and scalability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline preferred; all majors considered
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Financial Services, with demonstrated experience in Investment Operations, Private Credit, Asset Based Finance, Residential Mortgage Loans, Restructuring, or related alternative investment products
- 3+ years of people leadership experience including performance management, coaching, and employee development
- Intermediate or Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional ability to evaluate complex issues, exercise sound judgement, influence outcomes, and make risk-based decisions while escalating material matters appropriately
- Excellent leadership presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence across all levels
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple strategic priorities in a deadline driven environment, while fostering accountability, collaboration, and development of the team
- Experience interpreting Credit Agreements and Purchase Agreements a plus
- Experience working with Transfer Agents a plus
- Experience settling Delayed Draw Term Loans (DDTL) and Revolvers and instructing/settling DWAC, DRS, FOP, and physical bonds or equities a plus
- Experience with Aladdin/Aladdin Loan Manager or other loan servicing platforms a plus
