About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform routine data entry and basic data collection using company systems and standard software packages
- Support data management, file management and document filing activities
- Assist internal business users with personal computing environments and business applications, escalating issues when needed
- Troubleshoot routine hardware, software and system issues involving desktops, phones, wired and wireless connectivity, and related site technology
- Operate basic IT equipment and complete hands-on tasks, including hardware tracking and hardware refresh support
- Maintain documentation of supported systems, work requests and completed tasks, and communicate status or errors
- Work with local and remote IT partners and suppliers to complete shared tasks and service requests
- Learn and apply new technology, follow safety and operational standards, and identify process improvements with guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 or more years of experience
- Willing and able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
- Ability to participate in an after-hours call-out schedule as appropriate
- Safely operate a motor vehicle in the refinery around process equipment
- Comply with refinery safety requirements, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment when necessary
- Lift computer equipment weighing up to 30 lbs. from the floor and safely carry it up 4 flights of stairs
- Bend, stoop or crawl under furniture to connect wiring
- Bend to pick up equipment and load a pull cart
- Lift an individual item weighing up to 30 lbs
- Push or pull equipment on a cart weighing up to 100 lbs
- Climb 4 or more flights of stairs to access field hardware
