About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with clinical staff to develop and refine comprehensive treatment plans addressing mental health, substance use, educational, and vocational needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree in social work or mental health counseling
  • Independent license issued by New York State (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, or equivalent)
  • Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing is strongly preferred
  • Minimum three to five years of experience working in substance use disorder treatment
  • Minimum two years of experience providing clinical supervision and staff development
  • Familiarity with OASAS regulations and other relevant bodies' regulations
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision, coaching, and staff development
  • Strong documentation, compliance, and clinical systems proficiency
  • Ability to manage crisis situations and maintain professional boundaries
