About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver structural engineering design and analysis for wireless communication and telecommunications infrastructure projects
  • Ensure structural integrity and compliance of new and existing building, non-building, and non-structural structures and components
  • Support the full project lifecycle from concept and design through deployment and quality assurance
  • Perform structural and mount analysis and design for buildings, towers, monopoles, non-structural equipment, anchorage, and foundation elements
  • Design modifications for tower reinforcements, extensions, and foundations
  • Evaluate engineering alternatives and recommend solutions balancing safety, performance, and cost-effectiveness
  • Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and technical documentation
  • Conduct or review QA/QC checks on structural analyses, drawings, and deliverables
  • Support construction administration, including review of shop drawings, RFIs, and technical submittals
  • Collaborate with project managers, drafters, senior engineers, clients, contractors, building officials, and consultants
  • Provide technical support for structure-related inquiries
  • Coordinate with authorities to demonstrate code compliance and secure permits and approvals
  • Conduct site visits and field assessments
  • Prepare field reports documenting observations, measurements, and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to improve design efficiency, standardization, and process quality
  • Support mentoring and knowledge-sharing efforts
  • Take on additional projects or duties assigned to support business priorities and team objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License with the ability to obtain multi-state licensure as required
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in structural engineering design and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience developing construction documents and performing Mount Analyses and Structural Assessments for monopoles, towers, tanks, and buildings
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering design principles across steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
  • Knowledge of IBC, TIA-222, ASCE, and related design codes and standards
  • Proficiency with tnxTower, RISA 3D, Mathcad, and Enercalc
  • Solid understanding of construction practices and principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability and precision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment involving multiple offices, disciplines, and clients
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering preferred
  • Structural Engineering License preferred
  • Familiarity with telecom carrier standards and permitting processes
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting and modeling software
  • Experience applying international telecom standards, including Eurocode, LATAM codes, or other regional frameworks
  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred
  • Ability to travel on short notice and manage responsibilities across multiple time zones
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions, navigate uneven terrain or elevated structures, and comply with safety standards and protocols
