About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the technical design and implementation of complex, integrated, enterprise-class applications
Work with team members to understand customer business requirements
Build and deploy online ecommerce and CPQ solutions using web technologies
Mentor and provide technical resources to Pierce Washington software engineers
Lead solution implementation across the front-end DOM, CPQ application platform, web services, HTTP protocols, network security, and user authentication layers
Translate business and technical requirements into robust, scalable, and extensible solutions
Conduct performance tuning and diagnose and resolve technical compatibility issues
Anticipate technical risks and implement error handling and mitigation techniques
Improve best practices for code architecture, unit testing, database, and technical designs
Perform quality assurance on large projects, including estimations, design, architecture, and coding
Participate in prototyping broader product designs across modules and projects
Suggest and implement third-party libraries and software
Ensure overall performance and scalability of delivered applications and projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience implementing enterprise solutions supporting Quote to Cash business processes, including CPQ and eCommerce implementations
Deep integration experience with a variety of tools and technologies, including integration to a variety of CRM and ERP systems
Understanding of the systems development life cycle
Experience with waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies
Expertise in jQuery, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Python, XSLT, XPATH, CSS, HTTP, SOAP, JSON, relational database concepts, and SQL
Seven years of professional experience required
Excellent software development skills
Ability to meet client travel requirements as needed
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics from a reputable four-year university
Previous consulting experience is a plus
