About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Communicate design intent through storytelling, prototypes, and clear rationale
  • Balance systems thinking with detailed attention to typography, palettes, spacing, and animation
  • Advocate for user-centric, empathetic design

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5+ years of experience in product design (UI/UX)
  • Portfolio of shipped mobile apps
  • Proven track record of leading UX and visual design
  • Comfort with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and system-level design
  • Ability to quickly visualize, prototype, and iterate on new ideas in fast-paced environments
  • Expertise in developing robust, consistent design logic that maps to users’ mental models
  • Strong collaboration skills across teams
  • Experience designing creative tools, social media platforms, or games is a bonus
  • Design-engineering chops, high-fidelity prototyping, or animation skills are a bonus
  • A degree in design or related field is not required
  • Based in or around Palo Alto, CA is a bonus
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the US and US work authorization/sponsorship status addressed in the application
