About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take responsibility for the ongoing financial accounting and general ledger accounting of the companies
Independently assess and record complex business transactions
Prepare and independently complete monthly and annual financial statements
Oversee account reconciliations and monitor relevant balance sheet items
Organize liquidity management, payment transactions, and receivables management
Provide comprehensive support to the companies and act as the direct contact for management and internal departments
Support the team with accounting-related questions and contribute expertise across the group of companies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, particularly general ledger accounting
Solid knowledge of preparing and independently producing monthly and annual financial statements
Confident in independently assessing complex accounting matters
Professional qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter, IHK) or comparable practical experience
Structured, independent approach to work, along with decisiveness and a strong sense of responsibility
Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for professional collaboration
Experience working with common accounting systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage
A relevant degree is not required
