About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Integrate and coordinate logistics processes across operational, acquisition, sustainment, and wholesale environments for weapon systems, subsystems, and associated equipment
  • Plan, develop, initiate, integrate, and manage life-cycle logistics activities supporting readiness, operational availability, maintainability, and sustainment
  • Direct integrated logistics processes and develop support policies, procedures, plans, and systems
  • Develop and implement logistics directives, procedures, and guidance for EW, Decoy, and SEWIP systems
  • Coordinate logistics requirements across engineering, maintenance, supply, acquisition, program management, and operational organizations
  • Analyze logistics, maintenance, supply, reliability, and readiness data to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Support planning for technology transition, fielding, installation, testing, sustainment, maintenance, repair, and system modifications
  • Establish and enforce logistics standards and processes and ensure personnel are trained and equipped
  • Develop logistics documentation, reports, metrics, assessments, and recommendations
  • Coordinate and track logistics actions against schedules, performance standards, and mission objectives
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives optimizing warfighting capability, readiness, availability, lifecycle performance, and cost effectiveness
