About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a complex cybersecurity and enterprise security engineering program supporting a large Federal Government client
  • Provide overall leadership and management of contract performance, personnel, schedule, deliverables, risks, and technical activities
  • Serve as a primary interface between PingWind, project teams, and Government stakeholders
  • Oversee IT and cloud design, security, development, systems engineering, and implementation efforts
  • Ensure contract activities align with Government priorities, Federal standards, and performance requirements
  • Manage personnel, schedules, resources, risks, deliverables, and technical execution
  • Coordinate activities among PingWind, Government stakeholders, subcontractors, and technical teams
  • Translate customer requirements and priorities into actionable work across multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and performance reporting
  • Monitor deliverables for schedule, quality, and contract compliance
  • Identify, manage, and escalate program risks, issues, and dependencies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required VA background investigation/suitability determination and system access
  • Certification in one or more of: Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Assurance Technician (IAT) III, Information Assurance Management (IAM) III, or Information Assurance System Architects and Engineering (IASAE) III
  • IAT III/IAM III/IASAE III certifications may be substituted for a relevant Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Information Security, Information Resource Management, or related fields
  • Minimum of 10 years of Information Security experience
  • At least 5 years of Cybersecurity and Cloud Security experience at a large Government agency similar in size/scope to GSA, IRS, DoD, or VA
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex cybersecurity, cloud, or IT programs within Federal Government environments
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams, deliverables, schedules, risks, and customer requirements
  • Preferred: VA/Federal program management experience
  • Preferred: Experience managing large cybersecurity programs and subcontractor teams
