About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the marketing operations roadmap and sequence priorities against marketing and revenue goals
  • Own marketing systems architecture and data integrity between HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Resolve discrepancies between marketing and sales reporting with Sales Operations
  • Own the end-to-end lead lifecycle, including stage definitions, qualification criteria, scoring thresholds, routing logic, service levels, and sales handoff
  • Own campaign operations and attribution and build defensible executive-level measurement
  • Own funnel and conversion reporting as the single source of truth for marketing performance
  • Own marketing technology strategy, including build-versus-buy decisions, vendor evaluations, renewals, consolidation, and stack costs
  • Govern marketing systems, including permissions, testing, documentation, and requirements
  • Own marketing data compliance, including consent capture, suppression, and unsubscribe handling, working with Legal
  • Manage, coach, grow, hire, and lead the marketing operations team
  • Partner with Enablement and Sales Operations to communicate routing, lifecycle, and definition changes to the field
  • Report to the VP of Revenue Operations and support marketing leadership
  • Measure success through routing accuracy, lifecycle consistency, data quality, trusted funnel reporting, roadmap delivery, stack efficiency, attribution adoption, and team growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years in marketing operations, revenue operations, or a closely related function
  • At least 2 years managing people
  • Ability to inspect HubSpot or Salesforce configuration and independently judge the work without being the primary builder
  • Deep hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform and a CRM, ideally HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Experience owning the integration between a marketing automation platform and CRM
  • Experience with lead routing and meeting-scheduling tooling such as Chili Piper
  • Experience designing a lead lifecycle and qualification model and driving agreement across marketing and sales
  • Strong analytical skills and experience owning data quality, field and object design, definitional integrity, and reconciliation across conflicting sources
  • Strong command of marketing funnel metrics and ability to present and defend positions to a CMO or CRO
  • Experience owning vendor evaluations and renewals, including negotiation and decisions to walk away
  • Fluency with AI tooling for building, analyzing, and specifying workflows at volume
  • Clear written communication and ability to document decisions and write requirements
  • SQL, or comfort working directly with a data warehouse and BI tool, is strongly preferred
  • Website operations experience is a plus
  • B2B SaaS experience, ideally in a central Revenue Operations team
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in the United States
