About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate logistics, vendor relationships, budget tracking, timelines, space setup, and communications for in-office and remote events
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee emails, Slack messages, and support tickets
  • Assist in planning and executing retreats, Plaiderdays, monthly socials, holiday parties, onsites/offsites, and other employee programs
  • Manage operational details and provide hands-on support from planning through completion
  • Research vendors and venues, place catering orders, and create event signage and flyers
  • Oversee event setup, on-the-ground event management, and breakdown for social hours and flagship gatherings
  • Provide administrative support including project tracking, note-taking, task management, and swag coordination
  • Produce event communications such as invites, promotional materials, and recaps
  • Collaborate with People, DEIB, Communications, and Workplace Operations teams to support employee experience initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years of experience in an events, employee experience, administrative assistant, HR, or workplace experience role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills across email, Slack, decks, event invites, and other channels
  • Proactive, can-do attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced, occasionally ambiguous environment
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally
  • Experience planning and executing events
  • Comfortable being onsite three days per week in the NYC office, Tuesday–Thursday
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Canva, Zendesk, or event platforms such as Epoch
  • Experience supporting multi-office or distributed teams
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort being a visible presence in the office and engaging employees face-to-face
