About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and OKRs for Agent Trust
- Decide what Plaid offers, to whom, and how it is packaged and priced
- Define how Plaid identifies agents, verifies the humans behind them, and evaluates what they are allowed to do for new and existing accounts
- Connect Agent Trust to portable identity, reusable KYC, and consumer permission management
- Work directly with financial institutions and Plaid customers as the product expert through discovery, design partnerships, and GTM enablement
- Represent Plaid’s product requirements in industry groups and protocol working groups developing agent identity and authorization specifications
- Partner with data science and engineering on product signals, labels, success metrics, and related requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of product management or equivalent product ownership experience
- Meaningful experience in fraud, identity, authentication, or payments risk
- Hands-on depth in identity and authorization protocols, including OAuth 2.x and OIDC, FIDO and WebAuthn, and FDX or Open Banking consent, or experience in bot, device, and agent detection systems
- Track record of growing a new product line from early design partners and first customers to repeatable sales
- Experience building with and selling to enterprise customers or financial institutions
- Clear writing
- Ability to translate between protocol engineers, data scientists, GTM, and executives
