About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own everything related to consumer identity on Plaid
  • Lead user authentication UX and risk models
  • Launch a surface for users to manage connections and permissions with applications
  • Lead company-wide workstreams establishing a first-party relationship with consumers
  • Define the roadmap for deeper and richer consumer profiles on Plaid

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of building product at consumer-facing companies
  • Experience evolving a user authentication stack from simple to complex
  • Knowledge of product decisions and tradeoffs related to user authentication
  • Experience launching changes that drove meaningful outcomes at B2C companies
  • Significant experience with growth-adjacent work involving UX and ML changes
  • Experience leading workstreams involving alignment of large groups of stakeholders
  • Strong UX and data perspective
