Key responsibilities & impact

Review AI systems and integrations for security risk before and after deployment
Design and deploy guardrails, sandboxes, and other controls that contain AI agent capabilities
Build or implement systems to track and manage AI identities and their access
Detect and mitigate prompt injection across Plaid’s AI surface area
Run AI-focused security reviews and establish standards for other teams
Build scalable controls that reduce AI-related incidents and accelerate safe AI deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on experience securing AI technologies, including at least one of: deploying guardrails or sandboxes; managing AI identities; detecting or mitigating prompt injection; running AI security reviews; implementing AI security tooling
Experience at a frontier AI lab or defending production AI systems at scale (nice to have)
Experience on an Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, Platform Security, Corporate Security, Security Operations, and/or Detection & Response team (nice to have)
Software security review, SDLC, vulnerability discovery, and/or offensive security experience (nice to have)
Ability to work from the Plaid office associated with the role at least 3 days per week, with or without reasonable accommodation
