About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and OKRs for Agent Trust
  • Decide what Plaid offers, to whom, and how it is packaged and priced
  • Define how Plaid identifies agents, verifies the humans behind them, and evaluates what they are allowed to do
  • Connect Agent Trust to portable identity, reusable KYC, and consumer permission management
  • Work directly with financial institutions and Plaid customers on discovery, design partnerships, and GTM enablement
  • Represent Plaid’s product requirements in industry groups and protocol working groups
  • Partner with data science and engineering on signals, labels, success metrics, and product requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of product management or equivalent product ownership experience
  • Meaningful experience in fraud, identity, authentication, or payments risk
  • Hands-on depth in identity and authorization protocols (OAuth 2.x and OIDC, FIDO and WebAuthn, FDX or Open Banking consent), or bot, device, and agent detection systems
  • Track record of growing a new product line from early design partners and first customers to repeatable sales
  • Experience building with and selling to enterprise customers or financial institutions
  • Clear writing and ability to translate between protocol engineers, data scientists, GTM, and executives
  • Direct work on agentic protocols (nice to have)
  • Standards-body participation (nice to have)
  • KYC, reusable identity, or digital wallet product experience (nice to have)
  • Former founder or entrepreneurial track record (nice to have)
