About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and own full-stack production code in React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Take products from AI-generated prototypes into production
- Test work with automated tests, web testing, and real iOS and Android devices
- Use AI-assisted workflows to prototype and validate features rapidly
- Determine when products have outgrown starter platforms and migrate them to proprietary codebases and AWS infrastructure
- Review code, diagnose build bottlenecks, and implement code overrides or refinements
- Establish technical standards for clean, type-safe, and scalable output
- Build from product specifications and acceptance criteria
- Identify specification gaps and propose solutions
- Manage App Store and Google Play submissions, review responses, and release schedules
- Support the digital marketing agency with AWS accounts, hosting, access, software costs, and technical client projects
- Own the technical foundation for new products as the first developer
- Grow into technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, and team shaping
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience
- Expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Supabase/PostgreSQL
- Ability to audit developers' work and enforce structural code quality
- Ability to manage time and priorities independently
- Practical experience with AI code creation or agentic tools such as Lovable, Cursor, Windsurf, or v0
- Strong UI/UX awareness and product intuition
- Ability to identify product gaps and propose solutions proactively
- Exceptional spoken and written English communication skills
- Experience coordinating with international startup teams and founders
- Testing and bug reproduction skills
- Experience with React Native, Capacitor, or another cross-platform mobile technology
- Experience moving products from AI app builders into production codebases
- Experience with AWS
- Experience getting mobile apps through App Store and Google Play review
- Experience working on SaaS or marketing technology products
- Familiarity with analytics, tag management, and CRM integrations
- Fluent English, spoken and written, required
- Nice to have: 3+ years managing remote software engineering teams, running agile sprint cycles, and driving hiring strategies or organization building
- Nice to have: experience training developers and leading code reviews
- Nice to have: experience as a fractional CTO, agency tech lead, or startup technical founder
- Nice to have: deep background in marketing and sales
