About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with key finance executives and senior stakeholders
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly and statutory reporting
- Prepare month-end and consolidation journals
- Review and deliver accurate General Ledger reconciliations
- Prepare and analyse monthly and statutory financial reports according to relevant accounting standards
- Assist with audit processes and liaise with external and internal auditors
- Assist with tax lodgements and statutory compliance reporting
- Prepare cash-flow reports and forecasts and oversee banking processes
- Manage FX revaluations and inter-company transactions
- Resolve accounting issues as required
- Partner with the wider internal finance team and support Operations personnel in Finance processes
- Identify insights to improve accounting process efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist with accounting projects
- Provide ad-hoc analysis reports to stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- CPA/CA qualified with a relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent
- Ability to analyse and communicate financial information, including exposure to financial statement preparation and external auditors
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting, including accounting standards, practices and concepts
- Effective relationship management skills and ability to build relationships with non-financial stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of ERP system and advanced Excel proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to reporting deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight
