About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own production planning for short- and long-term time horizons
- Align production plans with sales forecasts, capacity constraints, and cost efficiency
- Create production orders in the ERP system
- Lead weekly production meetings
- Analyze production data and identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate material requirements planning (MRP) with the Procurement team
- Ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to reflect changing priorities, machine availability, inventory targets, and other variables
- Optimize planning processes across two production sites and multiple external manufacturing partners
- Measure and analyze performance indicators, improve process efficiency, optimize inventory levels, and enhance capacity utilization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a related field, or completed commercial vocational training
- Experience in production or supply chain planning, ideally in the food industry
- Strong experience with ERP and planning tools
- Knowledge of D365 Business Central is an advantage
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to critically evaluate existing processes and drive continuous improvement
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
