About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the activation, sustainment, and logistics readiness of assigned deployed flight operations locations
  • Coordinate shipment, receipt, staging, tracking, and accountability of equipment, tools, materials, and supplies
  • Assist with site setup activities before operational start
  • Serve as primary logistics coordinator for assigned operational sites
  • Maintain visibility of inventory levels, support equipment status, and logistics requirements
  • Monitor inventory utilization, consumption trends, and stock levels
  • Forecast replenishment requirements and coordinate resupply actions
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and asset accountability in approved logistics systems
  • Track equipment movement and delivery status
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments
  • Support customs, import/export, and hazardous material documentation
  • Coordinate logistics activities with Program Managers, Site Leads, Maintenance personnel, Flight Operations staff, and customer representatives
  • Travel to deployment locations for extended periods to support site activation, inventory audits, customer deliveries, and logistics operations
  • Conduct periodic site visits to validate inventory accountability, operational readiness, and logistics processes
  • Perform duties as a UAS Maintainer when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned and/or required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED and 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, aviation operations support, or a related field
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Proficiency with logistics databases and Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics planning principles
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods in support of deployed operations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport
  • Ability to support short-notice deployments and operational requirements
  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
  • Ability to distinguish differences in wire and indicator light colors
  • Operation of hand and power tools
  • Lifting, carrying, and/or moving tools, equipment, and components weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Working in confined spaces and around aircraft
  • Ascending and descending ladders or stairs as required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience supporting remote, expeditionary, military, aviation, or deployed operations (preferred)
  • Experience coordinating international shipments and customs documentation (preferred)
  • Experience with Veyron (formerly FlightDocs) or similar logistics and inventory management systems (preferred)
  • Experience supporting Program Managers and customer-facing operational activities (preferred)
  • Familiarity with logistics readiness reporting and inventory forecasting methodologies (preferred)
  • Experience supporting UAS, aerospace, or defense operations (preferred)
