About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices
  • Provide first-level technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot and escalate complex issues to the IT Manager or appropriate support channels
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper documentation of assets
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing and recovering IT equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, antivirus checks, and system backups
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager on infrastructure projects and system upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols
  • Provide support for conference room technology and remote access tools
  • Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT hardware
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to traverse manufacturing facility
