About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete section plan-o-gram work weekly in a grocery store environment
- Read and understand plan-o-grams
- Collect plan-o-grams, new item tags, and new item products; prepare the work area for section resets
- Break down sections orderly while allowing customers to shop other sections
- Reposition shelving and place products according to updated schematics
- Clean up the work area
- Complete forms and report section completion to Kroger and immediate supervisors
- Work independently with little supervision
- Be professional and helpful with customers
- Maintain good relationships with store management and staff
- Comply with KOMPASS employee guidelines, including timeliness, productivity, teamwork, communication, and clocking in/out
- Practice safe lifting
- Perform additional store support during reduced scheduled hours or urgent customer-support needs
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read and understand plan-o-grams
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in the English language
- A smartphone with internet/data access is required
- May be required to install and use an app on a smartphone, including location services, camera, and photo gallery permissions
- Must provide a personal tape measure and safety gloves
- Must remain standing for several hours at a time
- Must lift, push, or pull 50 lbs. or more regularly and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
- Must continuously reach, bend down, kneel, squat, reach in all directions, and have unlimited upper and lower body mobility
- Must lift and extend 30 lbs. above the head, sometimes repeatedly
- Must have unlimited manual dexterity
- Must tolerate exposure to temperatures from 0–90 degrees
- Retail store experience desired
