About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct on-site assessments of partner pharmacies’ process landscapes, with a focus on profitability
Optimize organizational workflows
Evaluate and interpret BWA reports and other business performance indicators, and derive specific areas for action
Analyze gross profit, customer and prescription trends, as well as the location and competitive environment
Review personnel costs, workforce planning, and existing workflows
Analyze inventory management processes, particularly purchasing, assortment, and category management
Assess existing pharmaceutical services and develop ideas for their economically viable advancement
Review the implementation of central campaigns and concepts in the respective pharmacies
Manage and track agreed measures through to implementation
Coordinate regularly with management and collaborate with Controlling, Marketing, Category Management, and Human Resources
Advise and support pharmacy owners in developing workflows, workforce deployment, and profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need

German pharmacist’s license (Approbation)
Professional experience in a community pharmacy in Germany, ideally with responsibility for workflows, a team, or inventory management
Sound understanding of the commercial operations of a pharmacy
Confident handling of BWA reports and business performance indicators
Very good understanding of inventory management processes and workforce planning
Knowledge of pharmaceutical services and their implementation in day-to-day pharmacy operations
Analytical, structured, and independent approach to work
Excellent communication and consulting skills when working with pharmacy owners
Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays
Class B driving license
