About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive behavioral health for common primary-care conditions including depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders through a virtual primary-care collaborative teletherapy model
- Perform psychosocial assessments compliant with evidence-based practices
- Provide counseling and therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities
- Work as an individual, family, and group therapist
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, implementation, documentation, and paperwork promptly
- Work closely with patients, families, and the team to overcome treatment obstacles
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment
- Respond quickly to urgent or emergent needs
- Maintain a caseload of 15–20 patients weekly and a minimum of 5 patients daily
Requirements
What you’ll need- New York and/or New Jersey clinical social work license required
- Medicaid Provider Number required
- Master’s Degree in Social Work required
- Minimum of 3000 hours of post-Master’s social work qualifying for licensure
- Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients required
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent short-term counseling skills
- Maintain professional development as required by licensing board
