About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a creative and storytelling partner for assigned clients
- Develop understanding of client brands, audiences, positioning, goals, and marketing needs
- Help develop creative campaigns through positioning, unique value propositions, campaign concepts, taglines, messaging, and storytelling
- Establish and maintain voice, tone, messaging, and content standards across channels
- Write, edit, and refine high-quality marketing content across formats and channels
- Use campaign and content performance, client feedback, and market insights to refine messaging and creative direction
- Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to writers, contractors, and production partners
- Stay current with content, accessibility, industry, and marketing best practices
- Support the development of creative strategy processes, tools, and workflows across the Creative Services team
- Collaborate with Account Managers, marketing strategists, and other creatives on messaging, campaigns, creative briefs, brand standards, and scalable content systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Legally able to work in Canada
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality marketing copy and storytelling across multiple formats or channels
- Strong grasp of North American English grammar, punctuation, syntax, and editing fundamentals
- Working knowledge of SEO, paid media, social media, email marketing, and digital content best practices
- Firm grasp of accessibility in content
- Ability to adapt voice, tone, and messaging across different brands, audiences, and marketing objectives
- Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, including target audiences, customer journeys, positioning, differentiation, value propositions, calls to action, and brand consistency
- Strong conceptual thinking and ability to identify the larger idea or story behind the work
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with Account Managers, designers, strategists, and production teams
- Comfortable presenting ideas, explaining creative decisions, and giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple clients, priorities, and projects in a fast-paced agency environment
