About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead application development by writing and defending production-grade application code and configurations
Encourage and optimize technical excellence across ESA teams
Support strategic transformational projects and complex enhancements
Lead root cause analysis for high-complexity incidents and ensure long-term fixes and system resilience
Oversee vendor engagements and technical solution delivery
Serve as SME for Salesforce, NetSuite, Billing Platform, and related applications
Identify, prioritize, and execute high-complexity application lifecycle tasks
Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions and simplified architectures
Develop complex tools and applications using Apex, JavaScript, SuiteScript, Python, and integrated applications
Build test automation regression suites and coach teams on Copado automation
Build AI workflows and agents
Automate complex tasks through tools and scripting
Analyze, debug, validate, and verify systems using test-driven methods
Mentor engineers through peer reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, engineering best practices, pull request approvals, and technical quality improvements
Modernize enterprise application architectures, improve integrations, and reduce technical debt
Partner cross-functionally to standardize development frameworks, automation tools, and DevOps practices
Exercise independent judgment to solve complex problems
Champion AI and automation adoption
Act as manager’s backup to oversee successful team delivery
Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience working on a SaaS product
Deep experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) or UI frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
Deep experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
Deep experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and SaaS product development
Working experience with SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect for authentication and authorization
Working experience with SQL
Working experience with on-call responsibilities for production-grade systems
Solid understanding of how to solve team dysfunctions involving trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and team results
Mastery of core applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and Billing Platform
Experience with Apex, JavaScript, SuiteScript, and Python
Experience with Copado test automation
Experience building AI workflows and agents
Experience with application architecture, system integrations, DevOps, and automation tools
