About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support a Senior Sales Executive
  • Interact day to day with prospective healthcare customers
  • Establish initial contact with customers and potential customers
  • Facilitate follow-up activities leading to new business opportunities
  • Schedule conference calls and meetings for the VP of Sales
  • Develop strong content knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Research potential prospects
  • Create strategic outreach plans with the Vice President of Sales
  • Cold call and email to schedule meetings and conference calls
  • Identify and target prospective ED Medical Directors, CMOs, and other healthcare executives
  • Communicate with prospective customers via email and phone
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly meeting-scheduling goals
  • Prepare background material and market research for sales meetings
  • Manage post-sales meeting follow-up and assist with the new customer sales process
  • Maintain an internal database tracking key performance metrics and sales and marketing activities
  • Own calendaring, logistics, and administrative responsibilities for the VP of Sales
  • Manage special projects as necessary
  • Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, Product, and Marketing teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Sales or fundraising experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed goals
  • Ability to communicate by e-mail and phone
  • Ability to overcome challenges or obstacles in the moment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to live in North America
  • Travel to and from the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office for required in-office events
