About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Define the application's visual design and information organization
- Illustrate design concepts using storyboards, process flows, and site maps
- Design user interface (UI) graphic elements, such as menus, tabs, and widgets
- Create page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop user interface (UI) mockups and prototypes
- Create original graphic designs, such as images, sketches, and tables
- Prepare and present sketches to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and resolve user experience (UX) issues, such as responsiveness
- Adjust layouts based on user feedback
- Follow style guidelines for fonts, colors, and images
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, industrial design, or design; or a completed undergraduate degree in any field accompanied by a certificate of a graduate program (specialization, master's, or doctoral degree) in Information Architecture or a related field, with a minimum workload of 360 hours
- At least 4 years of experience in IT
- At least 2 years of specialized experience as an information architect on mobile projects
- Ability to collaborate with product managers and engineers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to usability and information structure
- Ability to identify and resolve user experience (UX) issues
- Ability to receive and apply user feedback
- Strong communication skills for preparing and presenting sketches to internal teams and key stakeholders
