About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and execute Port’s global partner strategy across channel, GSIs, and strategic alliances.
  • Build and scale a repeatable partner model, starting in North America and extending globally.
  • Recruit, enable, and support partners in go-to-market execution.
  • Build and lead a differentiated GSI motion and embed Port into consulting practices.
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue, pipeline acceleration, and partner attach rates.
  • Design and operationalize partner onboarding, enablement, certifications, and repeatable sales plays.
  • Create executive alignment through strategic planning and quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and alliances.
  • Bring market and partner insights into product direction, positioning, and long-term growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7-10+ years of partner ecosystem experience at high-growth SaaS companies, with proven success building channel, GSI, and strategic partner programs from scratch or significantly scaling existing ones.
  • Deep expertise in designing partner programs, recruiting and onboarding partners, and enabling them to sell and deliver effectively.
  • Track record of driving repeatable partner-led revenue and demonstrating clear ROI from partner investments.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop scalable operating models and playbooks that work across different geographies and partner types.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, partnering with sales, marketing, and product teams to align ecosystem strategy with company goals.
  • Executive presence and ability to build trust and executive relationships with senior leaders at partner organizations.
  • Hands-on execution mentality, comfortable building playbooks and diving into details while thinking strategically about long-term ecosystem growth.
  • Based in Boston or Austin with ability to be in-office 3 days per week.
  • Experience in developer platforms, engineering tools, or infrastructure software is a strong plus.
