About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop systems while ensuring technical alignment with architecture guidelines and the continuous delivery of value
Translate architectural designs and business strategies into clear technical tasks
Support the team in breaking down complex problems and implementing solutions
Lead the redesign of the Auto Fleet insurance sales platform as part of the Fleet 4.0 project
Promote the integration of AI accelerators, such as copilots, into the development lifecycle and product
Ensure non-functional requirements for security, test coverage, performance, resilience, and observability
Work with the Product Owner to balance new features with technical debt mitigation
Plan the coexistence and safe migration of legacy systems
Collaborate with the Auto Fleet Squads and engineering, quality, Center of Excellence (COE), and System Team structures
Serve as a technical reference for the resilient, modern, and secure transformation of the current ecosystem

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong practical knowledge of microservices patterns, RESTful APIs, API gateways (MuleSoft and similar gateways), asynchronous messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and integration tools
Extensive experience with the Java ecosystem (Spring Boot, Java Web), Node.js, and familiarity with React, Angular 19+, and TypeScript
Experience with AWS (cloud computing)
Strong experience with DevOps culture and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, SonarQube, Pipeline as Code, GitHub/GitLab)
Experience with relational databases (Oracle) and NoSQL/cache technologies (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch)
Hands-on experience monitoring production environments with Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, Kibana, or AppDynamics
Ability to guide the integration and strangulation of legacy systems using SOAP, XML, EJB, and JPA
Strong experience with Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban
Comfortable leading technical ceremonies, including refinement sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
