About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop systems aligned with architectural guidelines and the continuous delivery of value
  • Serve as the technical reference for the Auto Fleet Squads
  • Translate architectural designs and business strategies into clear technical tasks
  • Lead the redesign of the Auto Fleet insurance sales platform as part of the Fleet 4.0 project
  • Encourage the integration of Artificial Intelligence accelerators, such as copilots, into the development lifecycle and product
  • Ensure non-functional requirements for security, test coverage, performance, resilience, and observability
  • Balance new features with technical debt mitigation in collaboration with the Product Owner
  • Plan the coexistence with and safe migration from legacy systems
  • Support the technical development of Junior and Mid-Level Developers
  • Conduct constructive code reviews and pair programming
  • Promote best practices such as Clean Code, TDD, and DDD
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, COEs, and the System Team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong practical knowledge of microservices patterns
  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with API gateways, including MuleSoft and similar gateways
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging, including RabbitMQ and Kafka
  • Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Java Web
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Familiarity with React, Angular 19+, and TypeScript
  • Experience with AWS and cloud computing
  • Strong experience in DevOps culture
  • Experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, Pipeline as Code, and GitHub/GitLab
  • Experience with relational databases, including Oracle
  • Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch
  • Hands-on experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, Kibana, or AppDynamics
  • Ability to guide the integration with and strangulation of legacy systems using SOAP, XML, EJB, and JPA
  • Strong experience with Scrum and Kanban
  • Comfortable facilitating refinement sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
