About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and enhance business microservices responsible for modernizing and replacing legacy systems
Actively collaborate on application architecture design, applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Hexagonal Architecture, and resilience patterns such as Circuit Breaker
Implement and maintain solutions in the AWS cloud integrated with event-driven architectures and messaging queues
Ensure high code quality through automated testing, peer reviews, and API performance optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development and Spring Boot
Advanced knowledge of microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Hexagonal Architecture, and resilience patterns in distributed systems
Knowledge of messaging queues and topics (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS), as well as at-least-once and at-most-once delivery models
Hands-on cloud experience, preferably with AWS
Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Preferred: previous experience in platform modernization or legacy system projects
Preferred: familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus
