About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, architect, and lead the migration of the legacy ecosystem to a scalable, resilient, and highly available new platform
Define guidelines for clean architecture, microservices, and integration patterns using Java, React, and messaging
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture teams and business verticals
Lead the DevSecOps culture and promote Clean Architecture, DDD, TDD, and Design Patterns
Establish observability, security, and performance standards
Support and mentor Junior- and Mid-Level developers
Conduct code reviews and share knowledge
Work in multidisciplinary Squads within the SAFe framework
Translate complex business needs into viable, sustainable, and high-impact technical solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
Strong experience in software development and architecture using the Java ecosystem
Advanced knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and messaging/event patterns (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies)
Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and legacy system decomposition/migration strategies (Strangler Fig Pattern, etc.)
Advanced Full Stack profile with hands-on experience building frontend applications with React and/or Angular
Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, MongoDB), including tuning and modeling for high-scale environments
Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, or OpenTelemetry)
Experience working in large-scale agile environments using the SAFe framework
MBA or graduate degree in a related field (a plus)
Experience applying and integrating Artificial Intelligence into the software development lifecycle (a plus)
Knowledge of Spec-Driven Development (SDD) (a plus)
Java, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), or Software Architecture certifications (a plus)
