About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide expert mechanical design support, ensuring designs meet project specifications and standards
- Utilize CREO for design tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in CAD-related activities
- Support project delivery from initial requirements through completion, maintaining timelines and quality standards
- Maintain detailed design documentation and provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other project components
- Initially support one key project, with potential transition to other projects as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the defence sector
- Proficiency in CREO
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be SC Cleared
- Must be a British National
