About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop end-to-end features
Develop back-end functionality using PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and ClickHouse
Develop front-end functionality using React and Next.js
Contribute to technical scoping and effort estimation during the “Frame” phase
Use Claude and Cursor to accelerate development
Write and maintain unit and E2E tests
Conduct code reviews and adhere to front-end and back-end standards
Document technical decisions
Take ownership of bugs routed to the team
Investigate and resolve incidents, including ClickHouse analytical queries
Collaborate daily with the Product Builder on scoping and prioritization decisions
Raise technical constraints promptly to enable scope adjustments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing a four- or five-year degree (engineering school or master’s degree) in web development
Available for a 12-month apprenticeship
Proficient in, or equivalent working knowledge of, PHP/Laravel for back-end development
Proficient in, or equivalent working knowledge of, React/Next.js for front-end development
Solid SQL fundamentals (MySQL)
Daily use of AI tools such as Claude and Cursor to code faster without compromising quality
Self-motivated and curious
Able to understand product requirements and design solutions from start to finish
Able to ensure quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews
