About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform electrical engineering assignments ranging from moderately complex to highly sophisticated
- Independently execute projects or lead large-scale, high-impact electrical initiatives
- Analyze operational, system, and customer needs and implement scalable solutions
- Apply knowledge of power distribution, controls, instrumentation, and related electrical systems
- Lead or contribute to project planning and execution, including scope, scheduling, and resource coordination
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance, performance optimization, operations, and training
- Champion electrical safety standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement
- Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders and leadership
- Provide guidance, mentorship, or leadership to engineers and technical staff
- Contribute to or establish electrical engineering standards, specifications, and best practices
- Support project cost awareness and effective resource utilization
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an ABET-accredited college or university (Staff) and 12–15 years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or a related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university (Senior) and 8 years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or a related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university (III) and 5 years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or a related industry
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety as a top priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills
- Experience working with electrical systems and equipment in industrial or operational environments
- Ability to work across multiple engineering subject areas
- Proven ability to work independently
- Preferred project management experience and/or leadership of complex electrical projects
- PE License preferred
- Master’s degree in engineering preferred
