About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure DI equipment installation is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to project specifications
Represent PowerSecure at the project site level
Oversee all construction activities
Be present for all equipment deliveries
Manage subcontractors and internal resources
Interface with the customer, utility, and local AHJs
Maintain safe and healthy work sites according to company standards, procedures, and legal requirements
Coordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and company employees
Coordinate and lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Understand all aspects of projects and manage installations
Ensure project sites are tidy and comply with housekeeping standards
Coordinate with relevant parties for timely project execution
Communicate with senior staff to ensure projects are installed safely, on time, and within budget

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma
2+ years of experience in construction; experience in energy industries preferred
Ability to read and communicate proficiently in English
Ability to use computers and standard office software proficiently
Ability to read and interpret construction documents
Must be punctual, organized, and professional
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, customers, utilities, and AHJs
Knowledge of construction management and construction processes
Ability to identify and manage priorities with urgency while maintaining high quality and customer service
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to work in various positions, including low to the ground or on a ladder
Must be willing and able to drive a company vehicle and/or fly commercially if necessary
Must be able to stand or walk for 3–4 hours at a time
Ability to work around varying weather climates, noise, energized electrical equipment, overhead hazards, and heavy machinery
